Caring, Experienced Management
Owner and Manager Suzanne Golter is very excited about bringing her experience to Happy Hound Play & Daycare. With over 30 years raising dogs, horses, cows, goats and other animals, her animal knowledge and great love of dogs is what makes this the ultimate play adventure for your canine companion.
Augmenting her animal background, Ms. Golter has taken Dog Assessment classes, enabling her to assess dogs’ health and temperament upon the initial interview. She has completed numerous dog behavior and training classes where she has studied under Suzanne Hetts, Ph.D. Certified Animal Behaviorist: (Phobic Pooches, Animal Behavior, Dominance in Dogs, Making the Kennel More Like a Home Away From Home). Through these classes and studies she has a gained a great understanding of dog behavior, pack behavior and dog body language. She is also trained in pet CPR and first aid.

Meet Our Assessors
|
 |
Don has been with Happy Hound since we opened in March 2004. As a vet tech for over ten years, he brings tons of dog knowledge and love to the canine clientele. In his spare time he takes care of his own eight dogs and participates in showing dogs on the weekends.
Sarah has been with Happy Hound since July of 2006. She loves working with dogs because she says she learns something new everyday! Her list of favorite clients keeps growing daily - and she's scooping out her favorite doggy for her next pet portrait model!

Stephanie Rainaldi
Sr. AM Boarding Manager |

Carina Brown
PM Boarding Manager |
Stephanie has been with Happy Hound since October 2005. She loves animals
and has two cats, Comet & Chicken, as well as a dog named Stinky. Stinky
has a blast coming to work everyday with Steph. You might even find Stinky
helping Steph out in the Boarding Department. Really.
Carina loves her job here at Happy Hound, which began March 5, 2007. She loves interacting with the dogs all day by giving them the love and attention they deserve. That very objective is her passion which is why she wants to become an Animal Control Officer someday. Besides all that Carina loves music, Japanese comics, video games and her own pets, friends and family. |

Our Morning Team
Lil Jenn & Sarah |
Jen has been with HH since March 2006, a local bay area girl she enjoys
hanging out with her Mastiff mix Bruce, who you can spot here and on her
free time likes working with children of the two-legged variety.
In addition to assessing new dogs, Sarah also enjoys co-managing the AM crew
and greeting our clients as they come in the front door. She also enjoys
long walks on the beach and a good Manhattan.

PM Manager
Chloe Lor
|
|
Chloe has been with HH since May 2006 and she loves it here! Other than holding down the fort with her Taiwanese Barbarian Hound called Fozzy Bear, Chloe loves to spend time with her friends cruisin' the City. She also loves having a good Pina Colada with the rest of the HH family!

Maggie Cassell
Office Assistant |
After a couple months as a Dog Handler, I moved into the Office Manager position. You've probably talked to me on the phone even! When I am not answering phones and doing other office type stuff, I can be found giving kisses to dogs through their respective Hound Town's. Outside of work I hang out with my own three dogs: Macy, Buddy, and Loki. I also have a cat, but he would rather plot to take over the world than play fetch. Oh, and have you heard of the band the French 77s? You should check em out! |
