I want to thank Happy Hound for the loving care that the staff has provided Casey & Allie. Casey is a very shy dog and has a lot of separation anxiety. However, since she started at Happy Hound I've noticed that she is significantly less fearful of strangers and new situations. Also, she seems much calmer and less anxious at home. My other dog Allie, is very excitable and needs a lot of attention and activity to be happy. The staff at Happy Hound really understand her temperament, give her lots of love, and make sure that she does not get overstimulated. The dogs have certainly been much happier and less hyper since they started going to daycare. I only wished that we'd found Happy Hound sooner!

Steve was prescribed Clomicalm to help with his severe
separation anxiety (he had been adopted from the pound). After watching him
lying around doped up I realized I had to find another
solution. Since bringing him to Happy Hound he is a
changed man! Steve is getting the social skills and
self confidence he needs to overcome his neurosis. I
can now leave him at home alone without him barking

Dear Happy Hound,
I wanted to thank you for taking such good care of Valley over the holidays.
When she came home she was the same relaxed and happy dog that I know and
she immediately fell back into her regular home routine. This was such a
contrast to her behavior when she has been boarded at other kennels; she has
typically come home anxious and taken up to a week to settle back down.
Valley also couldn‚t wait to get back to Happy Hound on her usual day care
day ˆ which is high praise indeed from my sensitive pup! It is so nice to
be able to board her and to know that not only is she being well taken care
of, but she is having fun too!

Ruby is two years old now and has been coming to Happy Hound since she was a
puppy. She's a Golden-Doodle with high energy and high social needs. Ruby
loves Happy Hound so much that she perks up when Mom puts on her shoes in
the morning, even on the weekends! She thinks that that is the sign for
her to get a car ride to Happy Hound and "play, play, play, all day, day,
day" with both her canine and human friends! At Happy Hound she gets to be
a dog running around with her "pack" rather than being bored and alone in
her backyard. Not having to make a special trip somewhere for bathing is
also very convenient! Ruby loves Happy Hound and so do I!
