Welcome to Happy Hound! I’m Suzanne Golter, and when I started Happy Hound boarding, and daycare, I knew one thing for sure: I wanted this to be a FUN place for dogs. I wanted every tail wagging, every dog tugging at the leash to come in, and every owner feeling really good about leaving their dog here.

That’s why we created a colorful, stimulating spacious cage-free environment where dogs can have supervised play with their friends up to 12 hours a day—indoors and outdoors. We also have special areas for smaller and shy dogs and clean, private rooms for boarding. (Read more about our Fun Facilities.)

It’s also why we hire and train people who genuinely love dogs and who give them lots of attention—and believe me, the dogs respond! (Read more about Our Staff.)

But I also thought about you, the dog’s owner. So whatever you need, we provide. Want a late pick-up? An early drop-off? One-on-one attention for your dog? A report on how your dog is doing? But the best thing about Happy Hound may be the effect it has on dogs after they leave here. We see it happen all the time. Shy dogs learn to be sociable and confident; nervous dogs become calmer; overweight dogs increase their metabolism…and they all have a ball!
